Cracking & water damage repair in Satellite Beach
A horizontal crack ran under the window, and the pool-equipment wall had rust stains where water had been getting in for a while. We cut out the damaged sections, re-bonded clean stucco to sound substrate, and blended the patches into the existing wall.

The bottom two feet, where nobody looks
The first photograph is the strip of wall under a window: bare sandy soil up against the stucco, a shrub growing into it, and a crack running dead level across the wall a hand's width below the sill. From ten steps back there is nothing to see.
That strip takes whatever a house gets — splash off the ground, irrigation, mulch banked against it, soil that stays damp for a day after rain. It is the part you walk past for years, and a horizontal line down there is worth a closer look.
Why the repair is wider than the crack was
In the after shot the new work runs the full width beneath that window, from tight under the sill down to the dirt, and turns the corner of the house. The crack was a line. The finished repair is a panel.
That is not padding. The edge of a patch has to land on material that is still bonded to what sits behind it, so the boundary gets pushed outward until the wall stops sounding empty. Stopping short leaves the join sitting over loose material, which is how one repair turns into a bigger one.
The equipment wall, and what runs out from under a window
The second before shot is the wall where the pool equipment lives — cream knockdown, two arch-topped windows, conduit and panels across it, filter and pipework on a pad — with dark streaking running down from the bottom corners of both openings.
Staining under an opening tells you where water came out. It does not tell you where it went in. In block construction water travels inside the wall, down the cores and along a course, so the mark you can see and the way in can be feet apart. Chasing the stain on its own is how a wall gets fixed twice.
Why the finished patch is still the wrong colour
The close-up shows the repair as a pale band running down a tan wall. The texture is right — the same fine knockdown carries straight across the join with no ridge in it. The colour plainly is not.
That is the expected state, not a miss. Bare cement dries lighter than the painted face around it and it holds sheen differently however well the finish was matched. Texture is the part that has to be correct while the material is still soft. Colour is paint, on the elevation we worked.
