Stucco Repair in Palm Bay, FL
Crack running across a Palm Bay wall? A bulge under a window, or a rust stain bleeding through the paint? We're based in Melbourne, a short drive up the road, and Palm Bay is in our service area. Tony Milam Jr. comes out himself, tells you what the wall actually needs, and leaves you a free written estimate. Call (321) 750-5505.
Why Palm Bay walls crack the way they do
Most of Palm Bay was drawn on a map before it was a city. General Development Corporation platted Port Malabar starting in 1959, then kept going — canals, a street grid, and tens of thousands of quarter-acre lots that filled in over the decades after. The result is a city where whole streets went up in the same few years, out of the same concrete block, under the same stucco. So the walls age together. When one house on a street starts showing hairline cracks over the block joints, the neighbors usually aren't far behind.
Newer Palm Bay is a different animal. The gated streets around Bayside Lakes, and the build-out west past Minton, are young enough that what we see there is settlement — a diagonal crack off a window corner, a hairline at a lintel — rather than forty years of sun and rain working at a finish.
What we get called out for here
- Hairline cracking over the block joints on older Port Malabar homes
- Diagonal cracks off window and door corners where a house has settled
- Bulging or hollow-sounding stucco where water got in behind it
- Rust stains bleeding through from lintels and stucco stops
- Patches from an earlier repair that never matched the wall around them
- Bare block on a pool wall, an addition, or a garage that was never finished
What the repair actually looks like
We cut back to sound stucco, find out whether anything behind the wall needs fixing first, and re-coat in layers so the patch bonds instead of sitting on top of the problem. Then comes the part most people are actually worried about — the finish. Knockdown, lace, dash, sand, Santa Barbara. We mock the texture against your existing wall before we commit to it, because a repair you can pick out from the driveway isn't finished.

Palm Bay stucco questions
- Do you charge extra to come out to Palm Bay?
- No. Palm Bay is in our service area, the estimate is free, and there is no trip charge for coming down. Tony does the walk-around himself, so you're not scheduling around a salesman's calendar.
- Why do so many Palm Bay houses have the same cracks?
- Because a lot of them are the same age. The Port Malabar lots filled in over a few decades with the same concrete block and the same stucco over it, so a street tends to reach the same point at the same time. Common doesn't mean ignore it — a hairline crack still lets water in.
- Can you match the finish on an older Port Malabar house?
- That's most of what we do. Knockdown, lace, dash, sand and Santa Barbara all get matched by hand, and we mock the texture against your wall before committing. If another contractor told you a finish couldn't be matched, it's worth a second look.
